The first of two April evaluation periods for college basketball coaches begins today and the top in-state prospects will be traveling to tournaments across the country. The second evaluation period is next weekend and many top national players will be here in Central Indiana, anchored by Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League event at Grand Park Fieldhouse in Westfield.

Several recruiting sites put out new rankings this week. Here’s a look at some names of note, their ranking, and where they will be playing the next two weekends:

Romeo Langford, New Albany — The 6-5 Langford, ranked No. 3 in the 2018 class by Scout and Rivals, is playing on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit with Twenty Two Vision. He’ll be playing in Dallas this weekend and Atlanta next weekend. Langford can basically pick his school. Among the programs after him are Duke, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisville and North Carolina, among others.

Eric Hunter, Tindley — The 6-3 Hunter, ranked No. 78 by Rivals and No. 85 by Scout in the 2018 class, is playing with the Indiana PROS. His team is playing on the Adidas Gauntlet series in the Silver division. He’ll be in Dallas this weekend and Atlanta next weekend. Butler, Purdue, Creighton, Minnesota, Nebraska and Xavier are among the schools after Hunter.

Musa Jallow, Bloomington North — The 6-5 Jallow, ranked No. 85 by Rivals and No. 95 by Scout in the 2018 class, is playing with Team Blaze Select. Jallow, who has offers from Butler, Indiana, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Virginia, among others, will be playing at the NY2LA Lone Star Invitational in Dallas this weekend and the Spring Extravaganza in Minneapolis next weekend.

Damezi Anderson, South Bend Riley — The 6-7 Anderson, ranked No. 102 by Rivals in the 2018 class, holds a Purdue offer and is capable of breaking out with a big summer showing. Anderson is playing with Chicago Meanstreets on the EYBL circuit. Anderson will be in Hampton, Va., this weekend and at Westfield next weekend.

Robert Phinisee, McCutcheon — The 6-foot Phinisee is ranked No. 61 by Scout and No. 122 by Rivals in 2018. He has offers from Butler, Indiana, Purdue and Virginia. Phinisee is playing with Indiana Elite, which will be in Dallas this weekend and Atlanta next weekend.

Aaron Henry, Ben Davis — The 6-6 Henry, a three-star prospect by Rivals and Scout, is playing with the Indiana PROS, along with Hunter. Henry, who has offers from Ball State, Indiana State, Bradley, Northern Kentucky and others, is in Dallas this weekend and Atlanta next weekend.

Kevin Easley, Lawrence North — The 6-6 Easley is back on the market after a coaching change at VCU. Easley will be playing with the G3 Elite on the Under Armour Association. This weekend’s tournament is in New York City and next weekend coming to Indianapolis.

Keion Brooks, Fort Wayne North Side — The 6-8 Brooks is the top in-state recruit in the 2019 class and considered a top-20 national recruit. He picked up an offer from Indiana this week, while Purdue and Michigan State are among the programs that had previously offered. Brooks will be playing with Spiece Indy Heat, which is on the EYBL circuit in Hampton, Va., this weekend and at Westfield next weekend.

Rivals put out new 2019 rankings this week. Brooks was No. 26 on the list. Scout has him at No. 14.
